Building a Better Nation for Tomorrow

We, CeyAgro Exports is a Subsidiary brand of Voltas Engineering (Pvt) Ltd. and are based on the appealing idea of fair trade.

While contributing to the gross domestic product of the country, we are bound to ensure the sustainability of all our stakeholders including the communities and the environment in which our businesses operate. A minimum of 2% of profit is allocated for social responsibility initiatives annually in keeping with our CSR Vision of ‘Building a Better Nation for Tomorrow’

The organization started and runs a corporate social responsibility program called VE Aid a few years ago. Through VE Aid, various programs are implemented every year to help the people of our own organization, society, and the environment as much as possible.

Corporate Social Responsibility Project - VE AID/ 005

Location: Krishthuraja Maha Vidyalaya, Hekitta, Wattala

VE Aid: 15 nos. of needy talented students in the primary section of the school were rewarded by giving school shoes, socks and stationeries. In addition to that, snacks and packets of milk were shared among 225 students as they come to school without having meals on most days. The project was executed on 18th Aug. 2022.

Thanks to the school principal, teachers, and Voltas staff for the support extended to make this CSR project success.

Corporate Social Responsibility Project - VE AID/ 004

Location: Apeksa Hospital, Maharagama

VE Aid: Shared fruits, biscuits, soap, and surgical masks among approx. 120 children who are suffering from cancer at Apeksa Hospital, Maharagama were done on 29th July 2022.

Thanks for Doc. Rajitha Abeysignhe and Hospital staff at ward nos. 15A, 15B, 15C, 16, and ICU for the support extended to make this CSR project success.

Corporate Social Responsibility Project - VE AID/ 003

Location: Krishthuraja Maha Vidyalaya, Hekitta, Wattala

VE Aid: Shared stationeries among more than 200 students in the primary section those who are having very low-income levels and cannot afford educational facilities. Some of the students do not have their parents and most of them do not have money to spend on their daily meals.

Corporate Social Responsibility Project - VE AID/ 002

Location: North Colombo Teaching Hospital, Ragama

VE Aid: The Coronavirus (COVID-19) crisis has thrown a significant influence on Sri Lanka’s health sector and people. During this period many hospitals suffered from shortages of medicines and medical equipment, especially ventilators. We identified this shortcoming and donated money to purchase a Fuji Cool AC machine for the new Intensive Care Unit (ICU) in the Hospital.

Corporate Social Responsibility Project - VE AID/ 001

Location: St. Joseph Elders Home, Negombo

VE Aid: Joined hands with them to provide care for more than 50 needy parents in the elder’s home. On that occasion, we shared fruits, dry rations, and sanitation materials with them and we spent that day at that place sharing their sorrows and joys.
